Calder Solutions ("Calder," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It covers this website and related communications only — data we process while performing services for clients is governed by the applicable services agreement (MSA/SOW), not this policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us through the form on this site or by email, we collect the information you submit: typically your name, email address, company, phone number, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically
With notice — and consent where the law requires it — we and our analytics and marketing providers collect device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, and interactions with the site. This includes session recording: a replay of how visitors move through pages (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and pages viewed) that helps us find usability problems. Text you type into forms is masked and is not recorded. We also use a visitor-identification service that matches device and network data against business databases to tell us which companies (and in some cases which business contacts) are visiting. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through this website, and we collect no payment information (nothing is sold on this site). See "Children’s privacy" below.
How we use your information
To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about our services.
To operate, maintain, and improve this website (analytics, session recordings, and performance measurement).
To understand which companies are interested in our services and reach relevant business audiences with our marketing, including advertising on platforms such as LinkedIn.
To send business communications you have requested; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (analytics cookies, marketing); our legitimate interests (responding to business inquiries, securing the site); and legal obligation (record-keeping).
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:
Vercel Inc. — website hosting.
Neon Inc. — database hosting.
Google LLC (Tag Manager / Analytics) and PostHog Inc. — usage analytics and session recording, subject to the consent rules in the Cookie Policy.
Resend and Amazon Web Services (SES) — delivering email, including replies to your inquiry.
Pipedrive — managing contact-form inquiries (CRM).
Cloudflare Inc. (Turnstile) — protecting the contact form from automated spam.
Professional advisors, or authorities where disclosure is required by law.
Advertising and visitor-identification partners
We also use tools from advertising and marketing platforms that collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies:
LinkedIn Corporation (Insight Tag) — measures how our LinkedIn campaigns perform and lets us show ads to past site visitors on LinkedIn.
HubSpot Inc. — marketing analytics and management of business contacts.
reb2b — identifies the companies, and in some cases the business contacts, visiting our site by matching device and network data against business databases.
Under some US state privacy laws, these disclosures may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or as "targeted advertising." You can opt out at any time: decline the cookie banner, visit the Cookie Policy page (the banner always appears there so you can change your choice), or turn on the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser — any of these stops these tools from loading on this site.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access this site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your information is transferred to the US. Where required, we rely on our providers’ Standard Contractual Clauses or their certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions and related correspondence for 24 months after our last interaction, unless a longer period is required for a business relationship or by law. Analytics data is retained per the schedule in the Cookie Policy; session recordings are automatically deleted after a limited retention period (no more than a few months).
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
EEA/UK: rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
California: rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — opt out at any time by declining the cookie banner, changing your choice on the Cookie Policy page, or sending the Global Privacy Control signal.
Other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana): similar access, deletion, correction, and opt-out rights.
To exercise any right, email info@caldersolutions.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days). If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and we will explain the outcome; where state law provides, you may also contact your state attorney general. Consent model and opt-out preference signals
This site applies the consent model your local law calls for. In regions that require opt-in consent (the EU/EEA and UK, among others), nothing non-essential runs until you accept. In regions with opt-out rules (including several US states), analytics, session recording, and marketing tools run by default and the cookie banner offers a Decline that turns them off. In regions with no cookie-consent requirement, those tools run and no banner is shown — you can still turn them off at any time from the Cookie Policy page, where the banner always appears.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and treat it as an opt-out of targeted advertising and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information: when your browser sends it, analytics and marketing tools stay off on this site, the same as if you had declined the banner. Choosing Accept on the banner is an explicit consent that applies to this site notwithstanding the signal. Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not standardized and we do not respond to them.
Automated decision-making and AI
This website does not use your personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. If we introduce features that do (for example, an AI assistant), we will update this policy first.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact info@caldersolutions.com and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be noted on this page.
